TV Installation
A TV card connected to your PC enables you to watch television on your computer screen. You can also record programmes which are stored on your computer hard disk for subsequent viewing or burning to DVD. Some cards offer other facilities such as being able to connect a camcorder or camera.

There's a number of reasons why you might want to watch TV on your computer.
--Watch while you are in a different part of the house, perhaps while you're working or surfing
--
Watching TV while you are away from home, perhaps at work, on holiday or while away on business.
--Watching TV independently of other family members
There are three types of TV addons that you might like to consider.
--An internal card fits inside your desktop computer. It is an inexpensive option, and is ideal for use with a single computer.
--An external box with a USB connection. Can easily be moved from one machine to another.
--A USB dongle, which looks rather like a large memory stick. Very easy to move from computer to computer. On the other hand, because it sticks out, it can be easily damaged.
These addons require a television aerial connection to work properly, and it is necessary to install software and drivers.
